These are not regular canning jars, they have plastic snap top lids. After making your jelly you coat the top with paraffin wax before putting the lid on and storing in a cool, dark place. Also perfect for making overnight oats or other refrigerator foods. Perfect for crafts also. Again, five of the packages are unopened New Old stock vintage ball jelly jars. The sixth package has been opened and one of the plastic snap-on lids is cracked on the edge. See photos. Each 12 pack weighs just over 5 lb alone.
