You may bid / buy any number of lots, up to the total quantity available above. These were acquired at a lost freight auction recently, and they are brand new. The boxes had labels (shown below) but there was no indication who manufactured them. They are sturdy and well-made, so they ought to be good for something. It appear they may have been designed to keep a lid or compartment door under constant spring pressure, from closed at 180 degrees to fully open at about 90 degrees. We tried to show the range of operation (under spring tension) in pictures #7 through #9. The pins can be pushed out with a miniature screwdriver or punch if you need to disassemble them. The mounting holes will accept a #6 machine screw, although you can easily enlarge or countersink them as required.
