Its composition may include any one or a combination of the modifiers Al2O3, B2O3, CuO, MnO, NiO, or SiO2 Varying the amount of stain will change the intensity of the color. I normally would use something like 5% to 10% dry weight of the glaze base. If you are going to use any ceramic color in a non-water based medium (oil for example) you should always dry the color before adding to the medium to prevent color pop and pinholes.
