The Ford Mustang did not escape this in combination with consumer demands for a heavier luxury type car. Gone was the “Go Fast” Mustang while still maintaining its good looks. Offered in 1:18 scale is the 1971 Mustang Sportsroof in Grabber Blue with black interior by Sun Star. Note: The Sportsroof refers to all fastback Mustang car bodies. The one being offered is the basic “Plain Jane” Mustang with an unassuming look. The hood opens to reveal the 351 (assumed) V-8 engine The doors open to a detailed interior The trunk opens The front wheels turn with the steering wheelReal rubber tires It is a nice model for the money that measures about 10½ inches bumper to bumper.
