Description: GINGER AND PICKLES is a hardbound, handcrafted complete miniature reproduction of Ginger And Pickles written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter originally published in 1909. It contains 61 pages with 11 full color plates along with many black and white drawings throughout the text. The pages are printed on both sides of single sheets. The spine is glued with a paper tape mull over the glued spine. This volume measures 15/16 inch high by 11/16 inch wide by 3/16 inch thick. It is constructed using traditional book making techniques and other techniques I have developed for making miniature books. The spine is printed with the title so the volume will look well on a bookshelf. I personally make each book. My miniature books are not intended for children and are not toys. THE PICTURE IS LARGE TO ENABLE CLOSE VIEWING OF THE BOOK DETAILS. THE QUARTER IN THE PHOTO MEASURES .955 INCHES OR 24.26 MM.
