Description: I need to clear some space on my shelves, so I have to part with some of my collection. THIS IS MY LAST ONE! I love the sleek and elegant look of the classic Formula 1 racers and Ferrari is probably the most classic and iconic name in Formula 1. This is the classic large-scale Revell (ex-Protar) model of the car Niki Lauda and Jody Scheckter drove to win their championship titles. The kit is packed with features (like workable steering, metal suspension springs, etc.) and a super-detailed engine with loads of flexible wiring and hoses, along with a colorful array of decals. I only found three listings for this kit on eBay (all from overseas sellers), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this to you very quickly. Here are some of the details about this awesome kit that I found from around the web: The Revell websites (revell.com and revell.de) do not show this product, so I assume it is Out of Production or Discontinued. From other sources, I have found the following information about the subject: The Ferrari 312T is an Italian Formula 1 car that was presented in the 1975 season and competed in F1 races in the period 1975-1980. Its designer was Mauro Forghieri. The Ferrari 312T was powered by a single 3-liter V-12 engine. The Ferrari 312T was developed to replace the Ferrari 312B3 car. Compared to its predecessor, it differed primarily in the use of a completely new rear axle and a different method of mounting the gearbox. Changes were also made to the design of the engine, but it was not replaced with a new power unit. On the other hand, the aerodynamic properties of the vehicle were significantly improved, and light and durable composite materials were used in its construction on a larger scale. The Ferrari 312T took part in 89 Grand Prix races - it was victorious in 27 of them. It was on the car that Jody Scheckter and Niki Lauda won their championship titles. Gelles Villeneuve also competed on the Ferrari 312T. This kit is in a huge attractive box about 18.5” x 13” x 5”. As you can see from the pictures, the package is in outstanding condition. This item was recently sold on eBay and the buyer opened it before deciding it was beyond his skill level. So now the box is opened, but all the parts are still sealed in their original baggies. I inventoried the bags thoroughly, so I consider it factory sealed and absolutely build-ready. This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit with over 340 black, red, white, matte silver and clear plastic parts, four rubber tires, a few metal parts, ignition wiring, flexible harness and a fabulous set of colorful decals, along with a thick instruction book to bring this Ferrari 312 T Formula 1 Racer to life.
