Description: A hard to find ancient and wild form of a true species Snapdragon native to the Mediterranean. The bright bubblegum pink flowers are borne on tall stems; a true perennial, returning every year and regarded as longer lived. Blooms freely and like crazy for months and months! Absolutely magical in cottage gardens. It can even be grown in rockeries and in rock walls and is considered an edible delicacy, the flowers added to salads and used in cooking. And lets not forget how amazing they are as cut flowers! A worthy addition to any garden. Germination Instructions: Sow the seeds in a tray, on the surface of good quality seed raising mix. Then pat the seeds lightly to the surface of the mix to ensure good contact. Do not cover; these seeds need light to germinate. Moisten the mix thoroughly by standing the tray in a shallow water bath, and allow the moisture to percolate up to the surface of the mix from below. Alternatively, you can gently mist from above regularly. Place the moist, sown tray in a warm, well-lit position (not in direct sunlight). Temperatures of 68-86F are ideal for rapid and optimum germination. Continue to keep moist by misting from a spray water bottle or re-soaking the tray as needed. Seeds germinate in approx. 10-15 days
