The mine closed many years ago. These were cut from old stock pulled from the mine many, many years ago. The color is 100% natural. The stones were stabilized prior to cutting for hardness and to preserve the natural color. The turquoise beads measures 18mm long by 5mm in diameter. Approximately 3.36 carats each.
