Description: Up for sale is an Antique Victorian Decorative Robertson Design Tile 3” by 3” with a floral like debossed or raised pattern on the front. They are stamped “Robertson” on the back. You will receive 1 tile with the pattern shown randomly selected from a grouping of approximately 50 of the same tiles. The picture of ten tiles is shown simply to illustrate the general condition of the tiles. These tiles were hand salvaged from a home built in 1915 and that was slated for demolition. I personally removed approximately 5 layers of paint and what seemed like an inch of mortar. Although not perfect, the vast majority of prep work on each tile has been done. Please review all the photos as the condition of the tiles pictured is similar to the tiles you will receive. Given the age, it is expected the tiles may have light spidering on the glaze or small chips (as pictured). I have a few other tiles (same size, maker, color) that have a different design as well. I also have 1 or 2 complete Victorian tile fireplace surrounds that were removed tile by tile, cleaned and are now being stored. If interested, let me know.
